A follow-up is a routinely procedure carried out immediately after the completion of the surgery and typically extends for a few days or months until the patient is fully recovered. Your recovery may vary depending on whether you undergo several procedures separately or at the same time.
Summary report
After the final follow-up and evaluation, the doctor will provide you with a summary report of the surgery. The report details the procedure(s) you have underwent as well as notes of your recovery and conditions upon discharge from the hospital.
Visa Extensions & Re-entry
- Visa exemption cannot be extended, but travelers may re-enter by flying out and back in. Land border crossings may not qualify.
- A medical treatment visa can be extended by the hospital.
